We are also one of the longest established compliance firms in the country. Swaines opened its doors in January 1988, shortly before regulation commenced in April 1988. Our clients range from large nationals to small sole traders. Swaines is a founder member of the APCC, a self regulating body for compliance firms.


We provide both a bespoke personalised service and an online compliance service too. Because of the wealth of experience we have, combined with our highly skilled and qualified team of permanent consultants and contractors, we are able to deliver high level compliance services and solutions to the most complex problems as well as attending to a firm’s general compliance needs. We are no ordinary compliance firm.


Our consultants undergo rigorous continual training and development in order to provide them with the latest changes and methods in FSA regulation. They also sit relevant examinations beneficial to our clients. Here at Swaines we strongly believe that without up to date knowledge, we have nothing to sell.


Swaines has carried out Section 166 Skilled Person work as mandated by the FSA. This is a significant achievement as Swaines is one of few compliance firms, other than the big 4 Accountancy Practices, to have been approved to do such work by the FSA. This is a testament to the skills and know how we bring to the table.
